CLINIC TIMINGS
GOOD TO KNOW
Appointments, not walk-ins
Every session is one-to-one, so we work by appointment. Message us and we will find a slot — usually within one to two days.
Early and late slots before 11am and after 6pm fill quickly. If you work full time, ask for these first.
Home visits are possible for patients who cannot travel, by prior arrangement.
Your first visit
Sixty minutes. No treatment until we have understood the problem.
Your first appointment at URJA is an assessment, not a treatment session. Here is exactly what happens, so nothing is a surprise.
- We listen first What hurts, when it started, what makes it worse, and what you actually want to get back to. This takes longer here than you may be used to.
- Physical assessment Movement, range, strength and function are measured and written down — not estimated by eye.
- Your Body Health Score Six dimensions scored: pain, mobility, strength, function, confidence and sleep. This becomes the baseline everything is measured against.
- An explanation you can follow What we think is going on, in plain language. In Hindi or English, whichever is easier for you.
- A written plan Which programme fits, roughly how long it will take, and what it will cost. You leave with it in writing.
- An honest answer If a home programme is enough, we will say so. If you should see a doctor before starting physiotherapy, we will tell you that too, and help you get there.
Before you come
What to bring, and what to wear.
BRING
Anything you already have
X-rays, MRI or CT reports, and the films if you have them. Any doctor's prescription or referral letter. A list of medications you are taking.
If you have had surgery, bring the operation notes or discharge summary. It tells us what was done and what your surgeon expects.
Do not worry if you have none of this. It is helpful, not essential.
WEAR
Something you can move in
Loose, comfortable clothing. We will need to watch you move.
Knee, hip or ankle problem — bring shorts, or wear trousers you can roll above the knee.
Shoulder, neck or back problem — a vest or sleeveless top under your clothes is helpful.
A female physiotherapist can be requested when you book.
TIME
Arrive five minutes early
There is a short form to complete on your first visit. Coming a few minutes early means your full sixty minutes goes to the assessment rather than to paperwork.
Bringing someone with you is welcome, particularly for elderly patients or anyone recovering from surgery.
Or send us a message
Prefer to write? Tell us what is going on.
We reply within one working day. If it is urgent, WhatsApp is faster.
